Zernike Ventures covers more than 30 participations in the  Netherlands, Australia and United Kingdom. Zernike Ventures invests in companies that have a proven concept. The companies we are interested in have a maximal annual turnover of about Euro 15 million.

Besides financing, Zernike Ventures can also provide the participations with the know-how of the whole Zernike Group, national and international, a so-called hands-on approach. This is an important added value compared to the services of other Venture Capitalists. This approach clearly is very successful. For example we can use our own international Sales & Marketing network to stimulate export possibilities or to liase between companies. All ventures that become a part of Zernike’s network can benefit from each other’s presence. The Group creates synergy between innovative companies.

Zernike Ventures does not aim by definition at a majority share interest in a company.

The amount of money needed is not normative. If in a certain case we cannot commit to the total amount needed, we can cooperate with third parties or take the lead in bringing parties together. Zernike Ventures can be involved with issues such as: succession, management buy-out, merging and management buy in.
